WHAT IS DRY CLEANING

In Dry Cleaning the clothes are cleaned in a solution as compared to washing.
When you Dry Clean the clothes go in to the machine DRY and when the processing is done
They are removed DRY. Yes soap and Sizing is used so that they remain soft and get cleaned.
They are ready to be pressed.
There are different methods of dry cleaning either with traditional solutions
or with the so called eco cleaning solutions.
The end result is the same it is the operator that makes the difference.
How the Dry Cleaning machine is maintained.

As opposed to Washing you put the clothes into the machine dry but after processing they are wet.
And a drying is required prior to pressing.

 

WHY WERE YOU NOT ABLE TO REMOVE THE STAINS?

There are several reasons for this.
1. The stains can be old and “set”
2. There may have been another process used prior to bringing them in.
3. A dye may have come in contact with the garment
4. More common “Bleach spots “be it “Javex” or sun scorched.

 

WHY DOES A STAIN SHOW UP AFTER PROCESSING?

Some stains cannot be seen prior to cleaning but in the process of Dry Cleaning which uses
Heat they oxidize / carmalise with the heat which is an energiser and stains become more prominent.
